These single-use crushable glass ampoule blanks are made from 6 to 7 mm outside diameter onion skin glass tubing. One end is closed by flame sealing, and the finished ampoule can be of any length between 50 to 100 mm. Once filled and heat sealed from the open end, these can be inserted in a thin cardboard sleeve for protection and crushing if required.
